REFLECTION

Things I would do differently next time...

Throughout this process, I've learned a lot about working as a team and collaborating with clients to meet project deadlines. Looking back, there are a few things I would do differently to make this project more successful.

  1. Iterative Prototyping: Conduct usability testing at each stage of the prototyping process to gather continuous feedback and make necessary adjustments early on. Because of the time constraint (1 month) we only had the opportunity to conduct 1 test for each device.

  2. Enhanced Communication and Collaboration: Establish more regular and structured check-ins with my team to ensure everyone is aligned and to catch potential issues early. Work more closely with team members responsible for mobile and tablet interfaces to ensure consistency across all platforms.

  3. More Focused Rebranding: Develop a set of brand guidelines early in the process to ensure a cohesive look and feel across all interfaces. Conduct studies to understand how users perceive the brand and use these insights to inform the rebranding efforts

  4. Longitudinal Studies: Track a group of users over a longer period to see how their interactions with the platform evolve. For SetCollector, I could monitor how users engage with the new design over several weeks or months, focusing on tasks such as adding new cards, organizing collections, or participating in community discussions.
