REFLECTION

Things I would do differently next time...

Throughout this process, I've learned a lot about empathizing, researching, and prototyping. Looking back, there are a few things I would do differently to make my project more successful.

  1. User Research Depth: While the design sprint allowed me to gather quick insights, I realized the importance of more extensive user research. Next time, I would allocate additional time for deeper user interviews and surveys to better understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors. This would help in creating a more user-centered design.

  2. Iterative Testing: The design sprint included a single round of user testing. Moving forward, I would incorporate multiple iterations of testing and refinement. This approach would ensure that I continuously improve the design based on user feedback, resulting in a more polished final product.

  3. Exploring Competitor Analysis: I briefly looked at competitors but did not delve deeply into their strengths and weaknesses. A more thorough competitor analysis would provide valuable insights and help identify unique value propositions for the app.

  4. Diverse User Personas: While I did consider user personas, I realized later that they were somewhat homogenous. In the future, I would create a broader range of personas, including different age groups, tech proficiency levels, and geographic locations, to ensure the app appeals to a wider audience.
